Youth:  Young people are a fast-growing group of new birders. We work with our partners to provide mentoring, support and education for youth who want to become part of the next generation of conservationists and bird protectors.  We welcome new members of all ages.
If your youth group would like to learn from experienced bird enthusiasts or conduct bird field work, please use our Contact Us link to let us know.

Visit our Scholarship page for more information about scholarships for youth bird camps.

Visit the Audubon for Kids webpage for resources and activities for children.

Visit the National Audubon Society’s website for information about forming an Audubon college campus chapter, and then Contact Us at the Bird Alliance for support.

Speakers Bureau: The Bird Alliance of Central New Mexico has a world of experience finding, identifying and studying birds, and we love to share our knowledge. If you are looking for a speaker to engage your group in team birding, recount experiences with birding in places far away, talk about the science of migration, or amaze you with how scientists study birds, use our Contact Us form to let us know.

Outreach Events: Bird Alliance of Central New Mexico participates in conservation and natural science events, festivals and fairs throughout the year.  We provide birding resources and information about protecting birds and their habitats, and we enjoy meeting and talking to anyone interested in birds.  Please check our Calendar for upcoming events and come out and meet us!
